Peridell Vaginal and Anal Dilators

There are 5 soft, flexible, smooth and anatomical vaginal or anal dilators from the Peridell line, with different sizes and colors to facilitate the evolution of the treatment.

All of them have a handle that supports the dilator and facilitates its introduction into the vaginal and anal canal, performing local exercises.

Indications:

1st Vaginismus (excessive contraction of the vaginal muscles that hinder or prevent local penetration);

2nd Dyspareunia (pain during or after penetration);

3rd Narrowing of the vaginal/anal canal;

4th Neovagina, Agenesis (construction and reconstruction of the vaginal canal);

5th Post-surgery (difficulty returning to sexual life due to pain or difficulty in penetration);

How to Use and Recommendations for Vaginal Treatment

1- Find a quiet place and lie down comfortably on your back with your legs bent (flexed) and open to relax the perineal region. Or stand with one leg raised on the side of a chair and insert the smallest dilator.

2- Hold the dilator by the handle, apply intimate lubricant around the tip of the dilator and also at the opening of your vagina. Insert it into the vagina with the curvature facing upwards towards the pubic bone.

3- The time of use should initially be 5 minutes and gradually progress to 20 minutes, increasing the time by 1 minute every 1 day of use, if there is no discomfort after use.

Muscle contractions (Kegel exercises, pumping) may occur while the dilators remain in the vaginal canal, if the person can perform them correctly, and if it is possible according to the local muscle and tissue health.

4- To facilitate the introduction of Dell Dilators, you can first use the Peridell Therapeutic Massager, including the Facidell tip, which makes penetration even easier. 5- Start the treatment with the smallest dilator, using it progressively until you reach a maximum time of 20 minutes without discomfort after use. Then, advance the treatment by replacing the dilator with the next size and width, increasing progressively.

6- It may take weeks or months to progress to the largest one, depending on local physical health and availability of use.

7- It is recommended to use Dell dilators 2 to 3 times a week, on alternate days to allow local muscle rest.

8- It is recommended to use condoms and lubricants.

9- To intensify the treatment and learn how to perform contractions with the pelvic floor muscles, it is recommended that you undergo an evaluation with a Physiotherapist specialized in the Pelvic area.

10- For the vaginal canal, the maximum insertion depth may vary according to the individual anatomy, from 8 to 14 cm.

How to Use and Recommendations for Anal Treatment

These dilators can also be used for anal sex, in which case penetration of up to 4 cm in depth is recommended (the anal canal measures approximately 2.5 to 4 cm in length).

To insert them, it is recommended to lie on your side and insert the dilators with the curvature facing backwards, towards the coccyx.
